Screening

Evaluation of Screening

Our department of Public Health is dedicated to quantify the effects of screening for a wide range of diseases to help individuals, clinicians and policymakers to make an informed choice about the (potential) most optimal screening (and non-screening) participation. Therefore, we (1) conduct large-scale population based (cancer) screening trials, (2) evaluate current national cancer screening programmes, and (3) model  favourable and unfavourable effects and the cost of screening (based on micro-simulation modelling).

Find more about our research on Evaluation of Screening in our video.
